Megan Andrews
Instructor
Megan Andrews has over twelve years of experience in criminal justice and Law Enforcement. Megan’s teaching experience includes the Public Safety Institute at Eastern Florida State College and the Public Safety Institute at Daytona State College, advanced training and law enforcement academy. She is currently active in law enforcement with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, currently assigned to District Security as a Corporal at a Jr. /Sr. High School. While employed at the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office she has been in the roles of a patrol Deputy, school resource officer and Field Training Officer. Megan is also a member of the C.I.S.M and honor guard teams. Previously she was employed by the Titusville Police Department where she served as a traffic officer, school resource officer, patrol officer and reserve officer. She graduated from Davis and Elkins College in 2008 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and recently graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2021 with her Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
I hope with the positions I have held in my career as a law enforcement officer, I can share that experience, and help those grow as individuals and officers.

Sean Cronin

Finally, my educational background includes an associate degree from Brevard Community College, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Keiser University, and a Master of Arts Degree in Homeland Security with a focus on Law Enforcement and Public relations through Social Media from Keiser University.

Vere Samuel

Is a 16 year Corrections Deputy and currently serves as an Administrative Major at the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Jail Complex. Vere holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University. Vere is an Adjunct Instructor at Eastern Florida State College Public Safety Institute. He is a certified First Aid and Defensive Tactics Instructor, and also a General Instructor, where he has been instrumental in instructing the corrections academy for the past nine years. Vere’s vast experience in corrections includes Commander of the Corrections Response Team (CRT) and as an active member of the CRT for a total of 10 years. 5 years as an Operations Lieutenant and 3 years as a Sergeant. Vere also spent 3 ½ years as a Field Training Officer, molding and training new corrections deputies. Vere has spent a total of 10 years as assistant coach and head coach of both the boys and girls varsity soccer teams at Astronaut High School. He has also made 4 one week missionary trips to the island of Haiti, where he taught Haitian children the English language and Science.
